All-In-One Heating and Cooking Solution for Camper Vans
XC Duo is a safe and convenient heater-cooker combination that is easy to install and keep clean. Sleek design fits well with the aesthetic look of modern camper vans. Left side of the ceramic top is for cooking in higher temperatures, right side operates at a slightly lower temperature for simmering.
XC Duo is not only a stove for cooking, but it is also an indoor air heater. By lowering the blower lid, the device blows warm dry heat, which keeps the windows and furnishing dry. When the device is not in use, the lid is an excellent protective cover for the ceramic surface. As the diesel fuel can be drawn directly from the fuel tank of the vehicle, you never have to remember to fill separate tanks. XC Duo multipurpose unit saves on installation time, weight, and valuable space within the camper van.
This space-saving solution has proved to be extremely popular with the camper van conversion builders, who prefer to have one single unit instead of a gas stove and an additional heater.
Updated software optimizes fuel consumption
Calibrated to burn renewable fossil free diesel (e.g. HVO)
Larger burner burns fuel slower resulting in ultra low NOX emissions
Extensively tested with Neste
Improved burner efficiency for more power
The Greenboost burner burns renewable fossil-free diesel cleanly and energy-efficiently.
Combustion air is pulled in from the outside of the vehicle ensuring fresh airflow indoors.
Exhaust gas is safely expelled outside keeping the indoor air clean and odorless.
Fully enclosed laminar burning process ensures a quiet sound level and dries the indoor air.
Energy-efficient Wallas can be safely left running overnight with windows and doors closed.
Variable output eliminates system cycling and reduces noise.
Brushless blower motor has a very long life-cycle and requires less frequent servicing.
Feeding fuel directly from the main tank of the vehicle saves space and eliminates the need for a separate tank.
Durable Finnish design and manufacturing keep your Wallas intact for years.
Low temperature on unit improves everyones safety.
Save space and reduce weight with a single installation two-in-one unit.
Laminar combustion is a safe burning process with no exposed flame.
Unlike propane stoves, diesel stoves do not require gas inspections.
Parking in public garages and entering tunnels is allowed.
Type approval ECE-R122 and ECE-R10.
High Altitude Mode adjusts the combustion when traveling in high altitudes over 1300 m (4200 ft) above sea level.

Technical values are measured in a reference measurement wall, which is constructed to represent a typical camper van installation. Values have been measured with maximum length of ducting, exhaust pipe, fuel line, and power cord. The figures allow for 10 % reserve – yours may vary.
Wallas diesel stoves and heaters are designed to run with standard road and boat diesel, as well as renewable fossil free diesel. Check with your distributor for further details on best options for your needs.
Accessories in black are included in the standard package. Accessories in blue are additional.
- Main power is connected to the 12 V battery.
- Fuel pipe is connected to the diesel tank of the vehicle or to a separate tank. The fuel pump can pull fuel up to 8 meters.
- Exhaust is led through the bottom to the side of the vehicle body. Exhaust is kept away from vegetation below the camper van.
- Combustion air is taken from outside of the vehicle through the exhaust head. This balanced combustion process is wind tolerant and assures clean burn.
Do You Need Something Smaller?
If you think you don’t have space for XC Duo in your van, take a look at a smaller one-plate Wallas 800 DSL. Note that 800 DSL is a marine cooktop and does not have E-type approval for recreational vehicles. However, it can be safely installed in camper vans retrofitted.
